Annually, the Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund (TREE Fund) raises money through a week-long bicycle tour. This year The Tour des Trees started in Des Moines, Iowa, and ended in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Riders covered 400 miles while educating the public about trees.
First-time rider, Rich Hendler, integrated vegetation management specialist, met up with alumni Kevin Jones, our previous business development manager, and nearly 100 other ambassadors helping raise over $250,000 for the TREE Fund. ACRT is a proud sponsor of this event.
