February 25, 2020

February 24, 2020Stow, OH — ACRT, an independent national vegetation management consulting firm headquartered in Northeast Ohio and one of four brands under parent company ACRT Services, announces the promotion of Cliff Benefit to senior operations manager.

“Operations is the foundation of what we offer, so we need innovative leaders in these roles,” said ACRT Director of Operations David Burke. “Cliff is an asset in every project he touches and champions our safety philosophy to all. I look forward to seeing what he achieves in 2020.”

Benedict joined ACRT in 2006 as a utility forester in Tennessee, gaining experience in everything from work planning to audits. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, Benedict continued to build experience through weekly staff meetings and community town halls.

In 2013, Benedict was promoted to operations manager, responsible for various large, time-sensitive projects. In addition to managing employees across several states, Benedict also led the ReadyForce storm recovery and emergency response team.

Benedict continues to advocate for our safety program. He supports the growth of our Area Safety Representative initiative, which ensures safety in the field. In 2018, he was elected to serve a two-year term as an employee representative on our board of directors.

“Being part of an organization that puts people first is incredible,” Benedict said. “It’s been a wonderful 14 years, and I’m excited to take this next step in my career with ACRT.”
