We’re proud to announce the promotion of Jerry Staton to ACRT senior operations manager. In his new role, Staton will partner with Cliff Benedict, a fellow ACRT senior operations manager to support the operations team and our customers.
Staton joined ACRT in 2010 as a utility arborist and has more than 12 years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as an operations manager – a position he’s held since 2015. He also oversees ACRT’s storm response as our Storm Team manager, is a member of the Utility Arborist Association (UAA) safety committee, and is a former member of the ACRT Services Board of Directors.
“Jerry is a valuable asset to ACRT and he brings a wealth of knowledge with him to this new role,” said ACRT President Kevin Puls. “We are proud to see him advance through the organization.”
Staton holds a bachelor’s degree in forestry wildlife management from Stephen F. Austin University. He also is an International Society of Arborists (ISA) Certified Arborist and Utility Specialist.
