Ellie Sprick Recognized with G.E.M. Award

Ellie Sprick, senior forestry specialist at ACRT, recently received a G.E.M. Award for excellent customer service. ACRT Operations Manager Jess Mason nominated her.

Mason shared the following about Sprick’s actions.

During Hurricane Idalia, Ellie sacrificed an event she had prepaid $250 for in order to support our customer’s needs with restoration. She had set plans to meet her family over the holiday at a local event for the weekend when our customer called for “all hands on deck.” Ellie understood the importance of her role and, without hesitation, canceled her plans, knowing that the event was non-refundable. Ellie continuously surpasses our customer’s and ACRT’s expectations. She is always going above and beyond, willing to help however she can.
Ellie is pictured in her new tool to aid in the transmission project she is assigned to. As part of our transmission team in North Florida, Ellie is challenged with adverse rights-of ways (ROW) daily. The UTV allows her to mitigate these rough, muddy, wet ROWs safely and with better efficiency. She has named her ACRT truck Lucky. To my knowledge, she has yet to name the UTV.
